NICOTINE ADDICTION
Nicotine addiction is a dependence on nicotine that becomes deeply woven into daily routines, especially for college students balancing stress, academics, and social life. Because it affects reward pathways, mood regulation, and concentration, support and treatment will look different for each person depending on how they use nicotine and how long it has been part of their day-to-day habits. Different perspectives show how nicotine addiction is a serious condition that often hides in plain sight, embedded in study breaks, walks between classes, and social gatherings, and how strongly it affects younger people whose brains are still developing. Even when someone wants to quit, cravings and withdrawal can make stopping feel harder than expected, which is why compassionate, informed guidance and open conversations on campus are so important

OUR MISSION
Nicotine use is deeply embedded in college life, yet its impact on students is often overlooked or dismissed. Misconceptions and stereotypes make it harder for young people to access real support or understand how addiction develops. Our mission is to cut through that confusion by documenting the lived experiences of students, highlighting expert insight, and raising awareness about how normalized nicotine use truly is on campus.
